I feel honored to have known Dr. Muller, who loved taking care of his yard, being outside, and sharing his love for medicine. An amazing example for our profession.

He was of humble spirit, and displayed a spirit of utmost integrity , professionalism and knowledge with gentle grace and guidance while teaching. I worked with Dr. Muller (never could bring myself to call him anything less formal) in the Emergency Department at HMC from 1994 to 2003. He was truly a mentor and always a joy to be around. His calm demeanor, humbleness, kindness, and genuine concern for others are traits we should all aspire to emulate. My sincere condolences to the family. May God sustain you during this time of mourning.
