I am so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I haven't seen you in a long time, however, you and your daughter Jade will remain in my prayers.

The world lost a good man. I did not get to know Bert until the last few years. I immensely enjoyed stopping by his Oak Ridge home and visiting with him. I'd usually time my visits at the end of the work day around 5:30 or 6 pm knowing that he'd always offer me a good martini to sip as we sat in his living room and talked a little politics, travel, a bit of engineering and construction, and occasionally the ongoing saga with the developer of the Rarity community he lived in. You will be greatly missed by all whom you have left behind. Thank you for all of the love and knowledge you shared with us throughout the years. You have helped us to become the people we are today, you have served as one of the cornerstones of this family, and you have always made me so very proud to be a Murphy.
