Mr. Nipson has been an inspiration to me & the way I look at art. I will always remember him. Herb God be with you until we meet again.

My condolences to the Nipson family. His example is an inspiration to all to never let obsticles derail your goals, help others along the way, and that giving always brings greater happiness than receiving (Acts 20:35).

Mr Nipson will be forever remembered

Dear Nip,

There are many great memories that I have of you and which I will always treasure.

To all who knew Herb. He was an astute manager of a stable of journalists during many turbulent episodes in the maturity of civil humanism in this country. A wise, and gentle soul who has been loved by many of his protegees, like me.

Brother Nipson, thank you for being a trailblazer for the journalists that have followed you...My Son Fidel Hart writes for the US Navy, due to your sacrifices....My Daughter Evita Hudson was featured in the October 2011 issue of Ebony as one of the Top Ten Sexiest Singles, due to your sacrifices....We stand on Mighty shoulders, such as yours, thank you for the balance....

Mr. Nipson held the most prestigious editorial position in African American oriented media during his career. That was a high honor
of accomplishment.
