Not sure what to say?

One of finest men I have ever met in my life time! Herb was a true patriotic person who loved his family, country ,faith and friends! One of New Jersey's finest Troopers! RIP my friend and fellow Trooper from NYSP! God Bless everyone!

We shared a friendship since our days in the NJSP academy. Great Trooper, dear friend and loyal Navy veteran. Although we did not spend much time together since our days working together on investigations, as well as other sensitive operations, we maintain some communication. Joseph Kochis NJSP Badge 1713

Herbert and I became friends in the NJ State Police Academy and enjoyed a special relationship through bonds in the NJSP, Masonic Order and while working on various investigations. I shall miss his humorous side, special skills and friendship. I pray for his eternal rest with our Lord and Savior JESUS CHRIST.

To the Family and Friends of Herb: Needless to say Herb was a great man and a truly patriotic person. I had the honor to work with Herb at Carnival from 1993 until his retirement. Smart man and a true friend, you will be missed by all of us who knew you. We had some great times and laughs together! Rest in Peace Brother Trooper! Dominick A. Froio Jr. Retired NYSP

To all of Herbs family and friends, you have my sincerest condolences. He will always be remembered as one of the, not just "good guys" but "great guys" that I had the honor to work with throughout our career as detectives in the NJSP. Never to be forgotten! John Laird #1998 DSFC (ret)
