One of finest men I have ever met in my life time! Herb was a true patriotic person who loved his family, country ,faith and friends! One of New Jersey's finest Troopers! RIP my friend and fellow Trooper from NYSP! God Bless everyone!

We shared a friendship since our days in the NJSP academy. Great Trooper, dear friend and loyal Navy veteran. Herbert and I became friends in the NJ State Police Academy and enjoyed a special relationship through bonds in the NJSP, Masonic Order and while working on various investigations. I shall miss his humorous side, special skills and friendship. I pray for his eternal rest with our Lord and Savior JESUS CHRIST.

I remember when we were kids walking to go fishing at the Dundee Canal, in Passaic. Your nick name then was "Chic". You had on your Levis with Chic on them and I had to get a pair with Richie.
