Not sure what to say?

Herb was a good guy. He loved his family and made great contributions to Pennsylvania ports during his many years of service. He was devoted to Special Olympics. Sorry to learn of his passing. Thoughts are with his family and friends.

I didn't know Herbie until he was my neighbor in Camp Hill. Then we put two and two together and figured out we were second cousins. He was sweet, kind, caring and a wonderful person. He will be missed.

Lynne, Bobby and family, It was so sad to hear that Herb passed. He will be missed by us and many other friends he made. Made God grant you his peace during this sad time.

I have known Herb since the 1980's. He was such fun to be around. My sympathy to his family!

God bless my old friend Herb. Worked together during our tenure with Department of Commerce. Lot's of fun together with old stories. Condolences to the family. Will always be in my heart. Dave Washburfn

Dear Lynne & family-
I've been a good friend of Herb's for more than 45 yrs. Please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss. Our friendship & connection was primarily through basketball either as teammates or competitors. My wife, son, & I volunteered for a few years w/ Herb when we lived in Central PA as he directed the Regional Special Olympics in basketball. We currently reside in Raleigh, NC. Herb & I also shared a similar health journey the past few years. I underwent chemo &...

Rest in Peace Herb. You brought so much sunshine to this world.

I knew Herb and was introduced to him through my brother. He always amazed me by the stories he told. We mostly shared basketball stories or a related sports story. He had a special talent when telling a story that made you listen, then laugh. My condolences to the family.

Lynne and family- I miss my friend Herb. He always had time for his friends, of which he had many. Going on road trips with Herb and Jay was always an adventure and a laugh riot. Annapolis, Buffalo, Atlantic City, State College, Philly among a few of the many. A local trip to happy hours always involved more than one hour and provided countless laughs for everyone within earshot. I miss you my dear friend. RIP and save me a seat on the golf cart.
