It is evident from the few times we met over the years that Herb was a substantial individual and father to a daughter he was so proud of! Alice's Dad will be very much missed and our sympathies go out to the Family. Mary Lou and Charlie

Thank you to everyone reading this for your condolences, and special thanks to those who met my Dad and became a friend. Concord and HHH became his warm loving home. It means so much to me that he could enjoy these many years in such good company. I will miss visiting him in Concord.

May I offer my deepest condolences on your loss. I had the great pleasure of meeting Rev. Pickett some years ago, and quite serendipitously, in a medical context. One look at his name, and I knew that my first questions would have to be whether he was a Gilman grad and did he have a connection to Hyde Bay (experiences we both shared). His eyes lit up, and we had a wonderful chat. He seemed a gentle man, with a great and thoughtful intellect. My best wishes to his family.
