Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear this news. Uncle Herbie was the greatest guy, my parents Walter and Irene Langevin were long friends with both Herb and Rita. I can remember our summer clam bakes at our house and as a little kid, Uncle Herbie would let me sit on his lap and play with his chest hairs. I will always remember the memories and will never forget my best friend. Rest In Peace Uncle Herbie.

So sorry for your loss. Herbie and Rita were dear friends with my parents and a grand addition to our family gatherings. Herbie with his boisterous voice and his bold kitchen visits(what's cookn) which usually ended with a swat with a spoon. I remember him doing his laps in the backyard pool followed by good food and good fun. I will remember him with love and laughter. I am so glad he was a part of my life.

My deepest sympathy to Uncle Herbies family. I can remember gathering with Uncle Herbie, my Uncle Jack Donnelly, and my Dad, John Sheehan. All WWII vets and good men. When they were all together the room was full of laughter, truly the best of friends. Well they have all passed now and surely they will be meeting up again soon to share stories and laughter. You will be missed Uncle Herbie. The Sheehan kids, Trisha, Anne Marie, Mary Lou and Jack.

Our deepest sympathy to all who new and loved Herbie. We have such fond memories of Herbie (and Rita) and his dynamic personality at the McCormick Christmas gatherings. Herbie had the best jokes! The more we laughed, the more he kept sharing. He was an inspiration and will be truly missed.

Herb was a real gentleman..I spent time with him at the synagogue, and the YMCA
I knew his brother bill, and his sister Charlotte They were fun people.

My deepest condolences to the entire family. I knew Mr. Rosenberg for many years and marveled at his diligence and passion for swimming laps everyday. The weather conditions didn't matter, he was persistent and always the first one in the pool every season and every day. Great sense of humor, friendly, and loved by everyone. The Bakes "boys" were an awesome help every day. I often saw Mr. Rosenberg in his parking lot or at the dumpster and there was always something to hear. Whether it was "I...
