I got to know Herb as he would come into a little machine shop owned by Henery Paul at 1108 jefferson st Vancouver,Wa.The year's !954,55,56.Our first converation's were how you get my last name who,s your Moma who.s your Daddy? That was always the standing joke.My sincere sympathy to the family and I know Herb is where he wants to be.

We miss Herb around FRC and are happy he went "home" as he had been praying recently. Betty Lou, you know you are surrounded by many of us who care about you and your family. You will gain peace and comfort as you gain strength to continue a new life here.

Sargent family - so sorry to hear of your loss. I have fond memories of Sunday evenings in high school attending the youth group. I also remember making a lemon meringue pie for the family at one time! Not sure what the occasion was but I know it was fun. May you find comfort in the memories of your loved one.

It is with joy that I write this entry for Herb being able to go to a place that is easier than being on this earth and I, also write this message for Nicholas Carter to Nancy and her family. It seems like I have know Herb & Betty Lou all my life - actually I have. Mostly at NWYM & different camps. He was a faithful servant of God & I am sure God greeted him with "Well done my good & faithful servant!"
