Not sure what to say?

Vivian and family,
It was a pleasure to know your father. I am forever changed by his passion and action he shared of restoring traditional family values. He was a man of vision and full of Godly character. He will be missed, yet always remembered. So glad to have met you, Vivian, through knowing your father. Blessings during this season of loss. Barbara Fuller, Gainesville

I was a civil engineering student of your father at UConn from 1953-1955. I was a hard worker but not a bright student.

I remember Mr. Sawyer as a professor who was always willing to take time to help a student learn. When I had a problem with my homework, Mr. Sawyer invited me into his office between classes and gave me an hour of his precious time to help me learn. For that help when I needed it, I will always be grateful to him.

Ed Hubert, Class of 1955

Dear Allen and Vivian,

We both remember your father so fondly. We saw him off and on, usually attending concerts where we also were present. He was a fine man, always positive, and will surely be missed by all who knew him.

What a gift I received from both Mr. and Mrs. Sawyer having had the privilege to have grown up next-door. What a shinning example they set for me. Love and Hugs, Allen and Vivian.

Thinking of you. Obbie

Vivian Ruth ... you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. May God give you the peace that passes all understanding as you grieve.

Dear Vivian,
What a wonderful memorial! I know you find great peace in his character and are thankful he has no more suffering. I am sorry for your loss at his passing and know you will continue to greatly miss him for many years.
Love,
Angie
