I had the privilege to work for Dr.Herbert Seybold, Dr.Thomas H. Guthrie and later, Dr. Carlton, as their accountant.
He had started his practice in Houston with Dr. Thomas H.Guthrie, Urologist. Dr. Guthrie was Chief of Urology at Texas Children's Hospital,and St.Lukes Hospital. I am deeply saddened to hear of Dr.Herb's passing. I had the honor and the privilege to call him my teacher,my boss,and my friend. I first worked with him at St.Luke's Episcopal Hospital. Then he asked me to become his office nurse. I worked with him until he retired from private practice. He was a kind,devoted,and tireless doctor to his patients.
