Not sure what to say?

Herbie and I were best friends when we were very young living in Terrytown on Stumpf Blvd. Sadly we lost touch with one another after my family moved away in 1973, I was 13 and Herb was 15. I remember his family then as a very close and loving family. I was thinking about Herb and Sandy not long ago and was shocked to see the obituary in the paper. I have many fond memories of those days and my prayers are with his family. May God Bless you all.
Much love, Wayne Miner, Karen Cox...

Our deepest sympathy to the family.

Dada was like a father to me. He loved me as one of his own and called Kady his grandbaby. I will miss him very much. I will miss his enthusiasm, his some times ridiculous requests, and most of all his strength. He was and always will be my hero!

I have worked with thousands of employees for Martin Marietta and Lockheed Martin, Herb was one of my best co-workers. He was very good person and will be missed. The Lord has called one of his finest servants. Herbert Sires will rest in peace.

I will remember herb for his kind heart from the day I came into the Sires home I felt welcome me and Morgan at the time were only dating but seeing how great of family she has just made me feel like I was already part of the family . He told me his stories about when he came to the family . We mostly talked football and chilled in front of some ESPN. He was hard working and adored his family . In a way he was a role model to me you will be missed but never forgotten

My thoughts and prayers are with you. Herb and I hired in together 32 yrs. ago at then Martin Marietta. He was truly one of the nicest people I have ever known. May he rest in peace.

What a wonderful person he was. I am blessed to have had him as a friend and to have worked with him for so many years. Herb was a very special person.

What wonderful memories I have of this great guy! He sure knew how to celebrate life. God Bless his family at this time and always.

My prayer go out to the family's
