SMILEY, Mr. Herbert L. "Tom," died May 18, 2013. He was a retired Purchasing Agent for the Town of South Hill. He is survived by three sons, Herbert Leo Smiley Jr. of La Crosse, Henry W. Smiley of Mount Juliett, Tenn., and Francis "Tommy" Smiley of Richmond; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A graveside funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory, and at other times at Leo's home.
