Herbert Spiro

Herb was a brilliant man, a wonderful person & a born comedian. He was also an outstanding mentor. I (like many of his former students) owe him a great deal for the opportunities he created. I will miss the mischevious glint in his eye, his contagious optimism and his general joy of life

Ambassador Spiro was a fatherly figure and inspiration to the many students he interviewed over the years for Harvard College through his service as President & Director of Harvard Clubs across the country and San Antonio.

He will be missed by all who knew him.
