I worked with Steve for a long time. I hired on to Western Electric 1961. He (as all of us in WECO had nicknames)was know as Hex Head (like the head of a bolt), The Tasmanian Devil (with his very raspy voice) he could scare us young installers out of our witts, knowing he was about to fire the whole bunch of us.
We will miss Steve espically the 3rd Sat of Sept at Raymonds Barbecue, our reunion group of about 85 or so is dwindling fast. As he would tell us get back to work NOW!
