Daddy it's with all my heart that I miss you every day when now it's been years. Life is no longer the same without you here. I know you are in a better place. No more pain and the only reason I can go on because you are in heaven. I love you forever and always. Your loving daughter Blondena Sykes Caswell.

I remember Brother Herbert Sykes as a Christian Hearted Man who loved working with the Youth at SJMBC. He was loved and respected by everyone. After all these years, no one has been able to fill his shoes as he was one of a kind. Rest on for you have finish the work that God gave you to do.
