Not sure what to say?

Steve: I'm so sorry for the loss of your father. I spoke with him in 2012 when I was writing my feature article in my book, Legends of Michigan: Cliff Keen, about the 150 lbs. football team. Your father was a member of the squad in 1948; they won the Big Ten Championship which was a sanctioned sport at that time. Jerry Burns was their quarterback; he went on to become a Head Coach at Iowa and the Minnesota Vikings. They are the only Michigan football team who went on to defeat Ohio State...

I knew two of Mr. Taggart's grand-daughters: Abra and Jessie, and they were both very kind young women. I want to send warm wishes to them as they go through this sad time.

Mr. Taggert was my counselor at Slauson, really nice person, very supportive. My condolences to his family and friends. Peace.

I always liked "Mr Taggart" at Slauson, he was a fine man, rest in peace Herb. Rich Goodsell

To Mr. Taggarts family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Taggart was my counselor at Slauson all 3 years I was there. Your dad was such a lovely man. Always had a smile on his face and such an easygoing manner. Always there to give advice as a counselor but more importantly listen as a friend. He will be missed. You are all in my thoughts.

I'm so sorry to hear of Mr. Taggarts passing. He was my counselor at Slauson in the mid-70's. He was a caring man who helped the awkward Jr. High years go more smoothly.

Herb was a great guy to work with and I have fond memories of my time at Slauson with him on the staff. Steve, my sympathies to you and your family at this difficult time. Rest in peace, Herb!

He was such an amazing teacher and counselor he will be missed. Loved having him at slauson. Prayers so sorry for you losss
