Not sure what to say?

I am so sad... (and alittle embarassed) that I just heard of the passing of my good friend Herb Thomas. Herb always had a smile; and complimented /teased me through all three of my pregnancies... calling me "Stephanie" (an actress from the 80's) ... I will miss your gentle nature and heart of gold. Thinking of you Fern. - Pamela Baker Gratton

Dear Fern, Darryl & family: I was saddened to learn of Herb's passing. He was one of the kindest and most giving men I knew. I have such great memories of doing the girls softball with him and making a difference in so many young girls' lives. He will certainly be missed, but will live on in the hearts of all who had the good fortune to know him. You and your family are in my prayers.

Mrs. Thomas, Darryl, Betsey and girls,
I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Thomas was such a giving man. I loved the teasing Mr. Thomas always used to give me as the wrestling scorekeeper. Our community will very much miss him.

Fern and Darryl

I just heard the news and wanted you to know I am thinking of both of you. I think about you all the time and wish I had more reasons to get up there. It sure is fun to fun to think about all the fun we had. I wish i couls be there with you Please know you are in my prayers and I hope to see you soon.

Dear Fern,Darryl,Betsey,Ashley and Amy,

We are so sorry for your loss. Herb was one of a kind and will be missed. He was a strong supporter of the students in Cato-Meridian and was always on the sidelines watching his granddaughters with great pride. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Fern & Darryl: Barry & I are both so sad to hear about Herb. I wish I had been able to be around him more often. I could always tell that his family was his world. And Herb & Fern always made me feel welcome when I came for a visit. I am so glad my little sister has such a great husband and wonderful in-laws. Lean on each other now more than ever.
We love you,
