Joe & Judy, Jim & Tammy & Family:

So sorry to here about your Herbs passing, I still talk about the times he 'made' me leave work to go pheasant hunting with him and he used to tell me "don't tell the boys I took you away from work to go hunting!"

I'm so sorry to hear of Herb's passing. Herb and I hit it off shortly after I began working for him in 1983. Though some were weary of Herb's "bark", I got to know him for the warm and generous man he was inside. I will always cherish the times we shared togther outside the Chicken Coops hunting, fishing, working, and talking together. So sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. He was a great man to work for and he will be dearly missed.

When he finally spoke, he said, "I fought through an entire war to come home and die from swallowing a bean!" We laughed for an...

I am so fortunate that I had the honor of taking care of Herb during his time of need. I will miss him and his spunky way.I am so happy for him that he was able to go home for 3mo. and enjoy his home and do some of the things that he had wanted to do. He was so strong. He sure did touch the hearts of everyone that had the privelege of meeting him. You are in my thoughts and prayers.Thankyou. JB.

So sorry to hear of Herbs passing. He was really good man and will surely be missed.
I lived in Richland most of my life, and knew Herb through mutual friends like Al Gerlofs.
Peace be with you all.
