Not sure what to say?

In Loving Memory of Herbert A. Vining Jr.

A light is from our household gone
A voice we loved is stilled
A place is vacant in our home
Which never can be filled
God gave us a beautiful father-
A father who never grew old.
You were always there with a helping hand
Help us know to accept His plan
We miss you now, our hearts are sore...As time goes by we miss you more.
Your loving smile, your gentle face. No one can fill your vacant place. May choirs of angels...

The holidays will be sad without my grandparents. we are going to have to start new traditions. he had 9 lives with all of the sicknesses that he went through. tonight is the third week since he died

We were sad to hear about your dad. All of you were always in every conversation we've ever had with him. Your mom & dad always had a story (usually funny) about all the times spent with all of you, and their lives are so full and complete because of you. They are still enjoying & watching all of you with loving eyes as they always did...
Love,Marilynn Richie & Lauren

Grampy - I'm sorry you died and it's good that you're with Nana. I am sad and I really am unhappy that you're not here. I'm glad you're an angel but don't worry that I can't see you but I know you see me. Grampy I really love you.
Hugs & Kisses, Corey xoxoxoxoxoxo

I thought Grampy was a genius. He was a big Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins and Celtics fan. He also was the most wonderful Grandfather and we loved to be with him. He is happy because he's with Nana but I'm so sad. I Love You Grampy forever.....
Love, Alyssa (Aly-oop) xoxoxoxoxo

Allen,MaryEllen & family,

I am so sorry for your loss. Your Dad has always been so nice & always treated me like I was part of your family. My family's thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Uncle Herb will surely be missed but now we all know that he is with our Aunt Doris again. We will always have the memories of them and keep them close to our heart.
Love, Nicole, Jon, & Kylie Maureen

Oh, how sad we are with our loss of our beloved uncle. Why must we always say goodbye? It is not goodbye! We will all meet and celebrate in the life after death. Unle Herb will be keeping everyone in order as he always did on earth.

Dear MaryEllen and Bill, and Alan, and all your family.

I am so sorry to hear that Herbie has died. My mom, Evelyn, was very fond of him and loved how wonderful he was to her niece, your mom, Doris. His example as a soldier, as a husband, as a father, and in all the many roles he played in the lives of all of us will stay with me. No matter what happened, he never ever complained. He was a great man.
