Sharon Springs lost a wonderful friend in Herbie. Although he graduated 3 years before I did, I remember his smile and his gentle presence whenever I returned to Sharon Spa for a visit, and was sure to run into Herbie, somewhere in town! I remember him because of his kind nature, most especially remembered at my Moms funeral and her internment, at Slate Hill Cemetery.

So sorry for the loss of this good man. I attended school with Herbie and have known his family for many years. He was always there with a smile and willing to lend a hand if needed. He will be greatly missed by many. My blessings to his wife and family. I will keep you all in my prayers.
