Herb and I grew up together and lived across the street from each other during our teenage years, in Walton, New York. Latter, we both went to Davis and Elkins College at the same time, until we left for our life's careers. Herb was a good student, athlete and popular student while in both high school and college. I was so very sorry to learn of Herb's passing. He was a gentleman and a gentle man. A person that everyone loved and respected. A fine example of a man who was highly regarded in his own profession, as community leader and as a wonderful family man! It seems as if the people we love are stolen from us. so sorry to hear about Herb. He was such a happy guy and never missed saying go morning to me while a left for work. I loved being a neighbor of yours. It's been 33 years since I left Poughkeepsie, and I miss it. My husband Joel passed on 2 years ago. My sincere thoughts are with you and your family.

Had the pleasure of playing with Herbie on an over 35 team, one of the best guys and teammates around,very sorry to hear of his passing.
