I was honored to serve as a member of Mt. Pleasant Waterworks under the leadership of a great commissioner, Herbie Wilcox. He will be greatly missed and will always be remembered as a great American.

Herbie was a great friend and neighbor. We will miss him.

Tammy, I am so sorry for your loss. I hope your wonderful memories will comfort you and your family during this very difficult time.

I had the priviledge to work with Herbie at the Treasurer's office for 5 years. He was such an inspiration to me. He showed such compassion and common sense. I throughly enjoyed his insight. I was truly blessed to know him and his service to his country and the Charleston area. He will be forever remembered by all who knew him.

goals and purposes of the institution. He was a very devoted family man and an outstanding friend. I was fortunate to be his roommate during our freshman year
and have cherished his friendship for 64 years.
