Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to hear of Herb's passing away. My condolences to his wife, "Dede" and family. Thinking of you Dede. Gwen

Our thoughts are with Dede and the family. We have had many wonderful times with Dede and Hebe over the past years. We have traveled many places together. Sending our thoughts and love to all of the family. Susan and Jim Dudley

I am so glad I was able to talk with Uncle Herb on Sunday November 9. Herb called while I was at Mom's and both of us had nice, upbeat conversations with him. Herb also called Mom about two weeks previous to see how she was.

I have so many fond memories Uncle Herb's boats. From the fishing trips out of Ilwaco, Washington to the family boat ride he took us on the morning before Bruce and Sally's wedding (a morning which was a beautiful sunny warm day in May in Portland!). I always...

Herb was my cousin, we grew up together in Richmond California. He was like a younger brother. It was the Great Depression we didn't have much but we had fun and a wonderful family. Herb was a thoughtful, generous and always concerned about the other person. As adults we enjoyed each other's company. Enjoyed a wonderful cruise to Canada one summer.

I shall miss our frequent phone calls as any two brothers would. I know God is with you, Herb as he is with Dede, Gregg, Bruce, sister...

Uncle Herb and Aunt Dede...wonderful memories of visits with them. Gentleman in every sense of the word. He is in our thoughts and prayers, as is Dede, Gregg and Bruce.

I am so thankful we came up to visit Uncle Herb and Aunt Dede this past spring. May the many years of great memories sustain you all at this most difficult time.
