HERBERT L. ZITNER

Herb was my godfather, he and my father Frank Miklaus were close friends in Cleveland. I did not know Herb until he found me through a newspaper article when he was living in Lake Forest, CA. We met, and he became Uncle Herb to my two children and an important influence in my life. We had the privledge of spending about a year with him on "family" outings and quiet conversations where he filled me in on many of the details I never knew about my father. We will alwys remember Herb's friendship. We all have memories of our Sunday breakfasts and the trip to Rome. Rest in Peace, Herb.

My mind will always hold the memories of my Great Uncle Herbert. My heart goes out to you at this time and in the days ahead. RIP Uncle Herby 1928-2010.

I knew Herb since I was a small boy. He was always a part of our family and was my best man when I got married in 1963. He was and always will be my best man. A mass and many more will be said for Herb at Our Lady Of Visitation Catholic Church in Elizabeth Colorado
