Heriberto Eddie Salcedo, Jr. was born on August 12, 1981 in Bakersfield, California to his parents, Eddie and Margarita. Eddie was the third of six wonderful children, the oldest boy. He is survived by his parents, Eddie Salcedo, Sr. Margarita and Salvador Gonzalez; his sisters, Priscilla Helewa, Annette Garcia, Daisy Salcedo, Angela Daugherty; his brothers, Gary Lozano and Isaias Mendez; his fiancée, Kelli Vivanco; his grandmother, Iris Ortiz; his aunts, Evelyn, Alicia, Elsie; his uncle Ramon; and other numerous aunts and uncles; his brothers-in-law, Andy, Anibal, Mark and Richard; his little niece and six nephews and numerous other cousins, family and friends. Family and friends knew him as Junior. He was very outgoing, funny and caring. "Humor is the best medicine", Eddie would say. When things were tough he smiled, made jokes and would reminisce on the "good" times. He enjoyed sports, going to amusement parks, watching movies, listening to music, trips to Hart Park with Dad, taking walks, loved spending time with family and loved going to church. Junior loved his family more than words can explain. He always wanted to be there for his family. He had the most beautiful smile, always laughed, never spoke negative and gave off such positive energy that would make your day. Months prior to him leaving us he found GOD. Junior accepted God into his life as his savior and heavenly Father. In his last month here with us, we soon found out that our Junior was preparing himself to be with the Lord. He had told every one of us that he wanted the best for us and to give our lives to God. We grieve for you Junior but we know that you are in a better place. No more pain and no more suffering. You are our handsome angel up in heaven watching over us. We will keep our faith in God and keep moving forward as you would have wanted us to do. Our mijo, our protector, our pride and joy we will miss you dearly. The joy you have brought into our lives will always remain in our hearts. We will see you again and be together as a family one day. With undying love you will forever live in our hearts, minds and souls. Visitation will be on Friday, June 29, 2007, from 4-8 p.m., at Hillcrest Mortuary. Services will be on Saturday, June 30, 2007, at 10:00 a.m., at Hillcrest Memorial Chapel, 9101 Kern Canyon Rd. I miss you so much. everybody misses you baby.i just want to let you know that your in our thoughts and prayers and you'll always be my baby. there is not a day that goes by without you on my mind.your always on my mind and i remember all the things that we used to do and the places we used to go. you always wanted to go to the movies.ha...you always called me at work too, just to see what i was doing.remember when we said that we were going to spoil Mia? snd that she was going to have everything cuz shes the only girl? i remember. i was looking through all the letters we wrote to each other back then and they make me smile cuz they were all funny and you always said that you loved me every other sentence.ha.....well baby your voice is still in my head and your handsome face i always see....remember i will always be ur girl and i miss you so very much.....babe your mom and dad are so nice i also love them too very much..and ur sisters and brothers...ur whole family babe...man, that's a big family to love and i know they care for me and it makes me feel so much better knowing that!!!!

Jr. I did not know you as well as many others, but the day I seen you in service was the day you even encouraged me, no matter what we face in life that we are the one's that decide whether or not we have joy in our lives that everything is possible through God.
