Herma S. Simmons

My deepest sympathy to Ms. Simmons' family. She truly was an inspiration and a person to be admired. I have wonderful memories of her and the devotion she had for the school. She truly loved the school and cared for her "kids". May she rest in eternal peace.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Mrs. Simmons' family. I started working for the Clayton Elementary school 20 years ago. Mrs. Simmons became my boss and I had the utmost respect for her as did the students. She will be missed and has been missed walking the hallway's of the old and new elementary school. God Bless You Mrs. Simmons!

Aunt Herma, I have always had respect and admiration for you. You were a special member of our family, and a pillar of our community. Rest in Peace Aunt Herma I love you. Forever Beckie

Ms. simmons was truely a great woman to be respected by all whom knew her. She has left a mark on many lives with her work here in Clayton.
she was truely on of the greatest Educators leaving many of lifes lessons taught with loving care. I think many of us that went through school luckily enough to have had her as a principal were given a true gift.

She was always someone everyone respected, but after reading all her accomplishments I can understand why. Our love and sympathy goes out to the family!!

I will always treasure the memories of loving, swimming and playing tennis with Herma as we went through school. What a gal !
