I was very sad to hear of Herman's death. Mr. Aldridge gave me the opportunity to work with him for more than 4 years as a Human Relations Specialist with the Winston-Salem Human Relations Dept. I will always remember Mr. Aldridge as a very kind, sincere and caring person who would do anything to help someone in need. I learned a great deal from Herman and will always think fondly of my association with him.

MOST RECENTLY YOU EXPERIENCED THE LOSS OF YOUR LOVED ONE. I MET HERMAN MANY YEARS AGO AS HE TRAVELED TO AND FRO HELPING TO HEAL THE WOUNDS OF PERSONS WHO WERE SUBJECT TO DISCRIMINATION. I DID NOT HAVE THE PLEASURE OF MEETING MANY OF YOU, HIS FAMILY. SHIRLEY, I HAVE MET YOU BEFORE, AND I HAVE A NIECE THAT WORKS AT CARVER THAT SPEAKS OF YOU OFTEN, KIMBERLY BARR.
