Not sure what to say?

I also did not know Rusty but after reading his obituary I wish I had a chance to meet him. I shall visit him one day at the cemetery when I am visiting my dad. Slow salute soldier

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Rusty. I was in operations at a local moving company when Rusty came on as a driver in early 70´s after his honorable service to our country. We spent many years together before we both changed companies. Up until a few years ago I ran into Rusty many times at flea markets and restaurants. He was such a kind soul with a big heart. My thoughts and prayers to his brother John and family.

Remembering my cousin with love. Rusty shared his birthday with my sister, Cathy! When I was a young teenager we would visit Rusty at his mum and dad´s home in upstate NY. He would play music from his turntable. He was always a kind and funny. May you rest in peace. With love and deepest sympathy to all his family and friends. Patty Ralph Gochoco

sounds like an honorable man, rest in peace

I did not know Rusty, but after reading his final tribute I wish I had. Thank you for your service Rusty.

RIP Thank you for your service.

I did not know Mr. Billings but his obit tells me he was a good man and a brave soldier. Thank you.

Sounds like a guy that I would like to have known. We do not show enough gratitude to all the brave warriors that served in Vietnam. I, for one would like to offer my condolences and THANKS.

So sorry for the loss of a very dear person in your lives. He was very kind to and from his friends. I remember him from Kevin Hunter's Automative, and when he would come into Walmart where I work. He used to call me "bag lady." R.I.P. Herman everyone will miss you.
