Dr. Herman E. Collier Jr.

I so well remember Dr. Collier's steady guiding hand when he was Interim President of my alma mater, Salem College. How lucky we were to have him at the helm during a pivotal time in Salem's history. I have thought of him often, especially recently when Salem alumnae began our historic recreation of Journey of the first Moravian women, who walked from Bethlehem to NC in 1766. I hope he knew about this undertaking and about our collaboration with the present-day Moravians in Bethlehem.
