Not sure what to say?

So sad to hear of Herman's passing. I was a repeat customer of his throughout the years and absolutely loved every photo he created. He was truly a gifted artist and such an amazing man. He always had the funniest stories to tell and spoke so highly of his family and the love he had for his wife. My heart goes out to you all. Herman, you'll be missed!

Wow! I knew something was wrong when Herman didn't return my e-mails. I included him in alot of inspirational and humorous e-mails. Herman was the photographer I chose when I had my first professional photo shoot back in 2007. He was a wonderful Man. His 'light' will live on. Herman, know that you touched alot of People with your kindness, charm and humor. I will miss you!

My condolences to the family! Mr. Curtis took my professional studio pictures about 20 years ago and since then I've been interested in photography. Thank you for being an inspiration and may you R.I.P.

Mr. Curtis took the photos for my first CD cover, and I have never been more pleased with any photos I have ever taken. He was a genius.

Herman took my senior photos in 1993, after a laugh filled hour long conversation on the phone. His fantastic personality brought me into his studio, his amazing abilities kept me coming back for family photos and for fun conversation. I had the pleasure of sitting for several sets of photos, including one that ended up in the yellow pages, and always had a great time. Herman had a huge heart and such a special soul. Sending many thoughts and prayers.

Every time I saw David and Liz together there was a special feeling in the room. Liz summed it up today saying " she would do it all over again". My condolences to all that knew him. Dan Elliott

Herman David:
I'm going to miss the chats that we has when I use to stop into your studio on Chevrolet. We both had the same sense of humor (warped) and we could make each other laugh. I consider it an honor to have called you my friend. You now have a view that can only be imagined. I bet you wish you had a camera with you. Look down on us and send a smile.
