Husband of Bernice (nee Cohen); Father of Mark Delfiner (Jill), Renee Segal (Richard) and Dr. Joel Delfiner (Madeline Ginzburg); Brother of the late Pearl Cohen; Grandfather of Dr. Leslie Delfiner (Scott Reese), Dr. Alexandra Delfiner (Ian Bomberg), Dr. Matthew Delfiner (Amanda), Seth Delfiner (Ashley), Leah Delfiner, Simon Segal, Erin Segal, Spencer Segal and Hunter Segal; Great Grandfather of Samara, Eva, Naomi and Ari. Relatives and friends are invited to services Thursday March 21st, 1:00PM at Joseph Levine & Sons Memorial Chapel, 4737 Street Road, Trevose, PA 19053. Interment at Roosevelt Memorial Park. The family will return to the late residence and respectfully request contributions in lieu of flowers be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

from the time I was about 10, my family lived on the same block as the Delfiner family. I was a babysitter for them and knew them all well. Herman and Bernice were living parents who have raised 3 wonderful kids and the family has just grown to include 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Herman was a stand up guy who adored his wife Bernice and all of his family. Hernan was the living patriarch of a beautiful family, and I was honored to have known him.
