Not sure what to say?

I knew Herman in Al. ARNG in 1963. I recall he was a motorcycle cop and a likable fellow "weekend Warrior". As I recall he was a W.O. (like me) in Guard Unit. Harold Wright

I am at a loss for words but I know you will see them again one day. I am praying for peace for your family. I know it will be a hard holiday season for you.

I haven't know Herman but for about a yr but he was the nicest man and he always was cheerful. I will miss him and Sandra.

To the Family, I worked with Herman and had great times and fond memories of a great guy. We rode our Harleys with pride and Herman was a joy to work with. I am greaty saddened to hear of another good friend and "Brother" passing. Your family will be in my prayers, and may God be with you in this sad time.
Your friend,
Doug Hughes, BPD retired.

Sorry for your loss.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Our prayers go out to the whole family. Sgt Evers was my first Sgt in the radio room back in 71 and he worked with Mike at both BPD and the courthouse.Mike and Carla Luker Mitchell (retired BPD)

Herman or Sonny as we called him was a prince of a man who I know loved his family, I recall when Natalie was a little girl how much Sandra and Sonny loved and cared for her with such tender love. Sonny's father Herman Sr was married to my Dads sister,Thelma for many years and all of them were much loved by our family. My prayers is for God's peace and comfort to all of the family. Rest in peace Sonny as you are reunited with Sandra who recently went before you. Love, prayers and thoughts;Mary...

In all the years I knew him, Herman was the epitome of class. Rest in peace, Herman.....It's a sad occasion, but good to know you and Sandra are together again.
