Airplane Car (Pulse or Litestar ), Dominos Pizza Car(Tritan A2). It did not matter what it was , or how complicated it was. He solved the issue. The very fist time I met Jay I had a 1980 blue four speed station wagon I was on the side of the road just before 106th just before I got into Otsego and this guy pulls up behind me put flashes on and got out walk up to me and said it looks like you got a problem I looked at him and i said no I like looking at my engine right now we both started to laugh and he said to me look I have a belt I will put it on for you and you can get off the road and be home ok I told him I don't have any money...

BSA Troop 98 will be forever grateful for everything Jay did for us over the years. I personally will miss his companionship at all the campouts. It was an honor to know him and have him as a friend.

Herman (Jay) was a fantastic friend and best mechanic Ive even seen, he could fix anything. He would help a complete stranger with their vehicle even if they didn't have the money to fix it plus he'd never leave a friend stranded. Herm was one of a kind, I loved the guy and I'm going to miss him dearly.
