Herman Galberd

Herman was a great person. I will remember him speaking of the Galberd axium. No matter where you were around the country someone always knew of Herman. I worked with him for 25 years at LDEO in the marine department. He will be missed

I worked for Herman his entire time at Lamont, he taught me so much to help extend my career with the university & if you ever needed anything Herman was there to help, he was a true friend.

Rest in Peace my friend, Herman your kind, caring and giving ways will forever be remembered Not to mention your ability to always bring a smile and laugher to all. Mary DeClerck

We will miss Herman Galberd. How incredibly lucky we are to have been a part of his life. How lucky for all those lunches and debates - for one last chance to hold his beautiful hands.
