Herman William Hess Jr.

Wow! Almost a year late, but I just found out my first boss at Ford Motor Company passed away March 1st, 2019. Just yesterday we got our Christmas card back as not deliverable so I Googled Herm and discovered the obituary.
Herm and his late wife Joan came to Jean and my wedding in August, 1974, and as our careers with Ford separated us geographically, we always exchanged Christmas cards with letters of what we'd been up to over the previous year, how our children and grand children...

To the Hess Family:

Please know that you have my deepest and heartfelt sympathy. Herm was a wonderful person. He loved his family and was so proud of each of his grandchildren.

We worked together at William and Mary and he was not just a co-worker but also a friend. He will be greatly missed.
