Read MoreI went to work for Herman in 1976 at the Gulf station while I was stationed at CAFB. He seemed to be a great guy, remember his son was playing the banjo at the time and he was pretty proud of that. I called and talked to him on the phone a couple of years ago, not sure he remembered who I was but glad I was able to talk with him. RIP my friend.
