Not sure what to say?

I went through RCIA @ St Henry in Elsmere Ky under Fr Kamlage. He baptized both me and my son over 30 years ago. I learned so much from him. RIP you are missed!!

Herman was a humble, generous, self-effacing friend. Like all of us, he had his quirks and his flaws, but he bore them with grace. I shall miss his laugh.

I will miss Father Herman dearly, I received all of my sacraments from Fr. Herman which gave each special meaning. He always knew what to say and when to say it. We could talk about Germany or the Kamlage and Vormbrock family. The family tree was always a topic in later years. With Herman there wasn't much we didn't talk about, we were cousins separated by 37 years but we were good friends too. You will be missed Fr. Herman, but not forgotten. Until I see you again Cousin with Tanta Maria and...

I will always remember Father Herman's stories of his childhood with my Grandma. He always spoke about how she helped him with English. He recently spoke at my Grandmas funeral and he had such amazing words. He will be greatly missed, but I know he has great company in Heaven.

I will remember his laugh and his smile. I will remember his wisdom and concern for helping others. I will remember his help with translating English into German so that I could send letters to relatives in Germany. I will remember his ability to connect family members. Most of all I will remember the love that he gave my husband (his cousin) and myself all the time that I knew him. Good-bye dear friend. Will miss you .

I will remember his humility, his eagerness to help those in need and his gracious smile. Every Thursday our paths crossed at Adoration at Mother of God Church Covington.
