Not sure what to say?

Now that I live in Las Vegas, I apologize for the fact that I just heard of Herman's death today. Regardless, I still extend my sincere thoughts, prayers, and heartfelt sympathy to his entire family. I had the honor and privilege of knowing and working with Herman as an integral member of the Funeral Service Education Advisory Committee at St. Louis Community at Forest Park. Herman always had a presence that filled the room, and I always looked forward to seeing him at the Advisory Committee...

I'm so sorry for the loss of Mr. Kriegshauser, who was so active in the community including being a board of education member for Rockwood School District. I'll miss his kindness and good nature.
Mary Shapiro (with West Newsmagazine)

Our deepest sympathy to all.

Dear Kriegshauser Family:
The KNIGHTS of COLUMBUS of Metro St. Louis extend their deepest prayerful sympathy to the Kriegshauser Family on the passing of our distinguished Brother Knight, Sir HERMAN KRIEGSHAUSER, Sr.

Sir HERMAN's commitment to the KofC Order, to educational opportunities for parochial and private school students, to the Church and community generally is worthy of note. He was also an avid sportsman and fan, particularly regarding youth hockey.

Sir HERMAN's...

Doug and Keith, I was so sorry to hear about Herm. He was a great guy and very good to poor starving students during his visits to ND. Loved the article regarding his involvement in youth hockey. He and your Mother are in our prayers. Love, Dave and Julie Russo

I worked with my good friend, Herman, for decades on educational opportunities for students. He never gave up and his energy and commitment to so many causes and organizations was inspiring. He was always on the go right to the end. God bless you Herm.

Sir HERMAN's fellow Knights and Ladies of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre sincerely mourn his passing this week.

During his long life, Sir HERMAN and his wife Lady BLANCHE did great honor to the church, the metro St. Louis community, the funeral profession and the Order with their lifelong support, leadership, charitable activities and enthusiasm for many years with meritorious service on behalf of numerous Catholic and community needs. His enthusiasm for hockey (youth and...

Of all the many things that can be said of Herm, the one that comes first to mind is that he was an avid collector of his past associations. He never seemed to join any organization for which he didn't become a deeply loyal and active participant for life. He has been a community treasure throughout his life and will be missed.
