Herman J. Merte

Very grateful for my ist cousin Herman because of his many talents and accomplishments, but most of all how he kept the Merte clan together by hosting so many family reunions.His best decision wa to marry Bernice who helped him raise a fantastic bunch of boys.

Prof Merte was my thesis advisor at UM in 1983-4. A wonderful teacher and mentor who held mold my career in industry.

We're sorry for your loss, Bernice. Bryan and I enjoyed the times we shared dinner with you and Herman in the Global Gourmets group. We miss seeing you. At age 11 I was so proud of my older handsome cousin Herman and his beautiful bride Bernice. My pride only grew after I learned about all of his many accomplishments but most of all how much he valued his immediate and extended family. Truly the mark of an exceptional human being. My sincerest condolences to Bernice and the family.
