Not sure what to say?

We're so sorry to hear of your loss and will always remember Herm's good humor, kindness and generosity. Both he, Marlene and your entire family graciously opened your homes and extended many years of warm friendship to Ben, Janet and our entire family.

Ben and Herm had a very special relationship and were truly brothers.

With Sincere Condolences,

The Cherry Family

Hi, this is the Volunteer Coordinator from Bethesda Mission. We are so sorry to hear of Herman's passing. He delivered meals at Bethesda Mission on Christmas Day for many many years for which we are so grateful! He will be missed for sure. At first he delivered with his friend Howard and then Michael his son in law joined him. Just so hard to believe he will not be doing it this year!

Dear Lorie,
I am so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. We will keep you and your family in our prayers.

Herm was a dear, dear soul! I met him while working at Homeland Hospice when we cared for his wife. He was a true example of a loving, dedicated husband. While he will be missed, I'm so very happy for him that he can now be with his true love once again ❤. Rest in peace my friend.

Dear Lorie,

Mommy and I are very sad that you lost your wonderful father. We knew both your parents well. They were great caring people.

love,
Harriet and Hilda Mantelmacher

My sincere condolences to Herms family! He was one of the nicest persons I have ever had the pleasure to know. He was an outstanding athlete but most importantly a devoted and loving husband and father. May he Rest In Peace!

Herm spent a great deal of time with the elderly at Homeland Center and was always a joy to engage in conversation. He never hesitated to talk about his undying love for his wife, Marlene, and how they grew up together. Herm gave a lot of himself and brought a lot energy with him every time he spoke at Homeland and for that all of us who knew him pass along our sympathies to his immediate family and their loss of a wonderful human being. You'll be by Marlene's side once again.
