Betty, Joyce, Roger and the whole family--You are all in my prayers and will continue to be. I love you guys and with the Lord's help everything will be allright-Herman is feeling better than he has been his whole life and I believe that with all my heart.

It is 5:30pm on March 9 and we just found out that you lost your dad. We wish we weren’t so far away because we would love to be there to pay our respects to this wonderful man that you call dad and we call friend. We are sorry to hear of the loss of your father. Herman's mother (Lonnie C. Hall) was a sister to Elizabeth Kent Hall Elliott, Emory Elliott's mother. Our prayers are with you during this time.

Herman was a wonderful person with a life well lived. I think of him often.

I STILL REMEMBER GROWING UP AROUND HERMAN.IN A SMALL COMMUNITY WE GOT TO KNOW EACH OTHER AND HE WAS ONE YOU ALWAYS ENJOYED AS A KID AND AS AN ADULT BEING AROUND.HE WAS A GREAT FRIEND AND WILL BE MISSED.MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS GO OUT TO ALL OF HIS CHILDREN.HE WAS A GREAT DAD I KNOW.
