We just heard about Herman's passing this morning at church. We both express our sincerest and heartfelt condolences to all of his family. Herman used to pick me up in the early 1960s and drive me to work at Celanese where he, also, worked. My husband and I only have good things to say about Herman. We are very sorry that we did know about his passing and did not attend his wake and funeral.

My sincere condolences to the entire family of Herman Piraneo. We remember all the time and care he devoted to his volunteer work, which I am sure will never be forgotten. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

For Joe & Michelle ... I was so VERY sorry to here about your loss. Though I didn't know your Dad, Joe, I do know YOU ... I am quite certain that you are a reflection of your Dad as I've been told he was a lovely gentleman. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Love, Faith

"Uncle" Herman may not have been the tallest man in the room but he definitely had the biggest heart in the room. Thank you for touching so many lives, Herman. You will be missed!! God Bless! RIP..
