Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I was one of many students that your dad had and I was happy to meet you ( Karen) finally. I felt like I already knew you because he enjoyed telling stories about his family in class. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family..... May his memory be a blessing.

You Dad was also my 6th grade teacher at Pacheco in '63. He was very effective as a classroom teacher but equally important genuinely interested in our exploits outside on the playground and the little league ballfield. He remains one of my favorite teachers because of this...you knew he cared. A good man...carpe diem.

I have great respect for Uncle Ripp. His love for gardening is shared by my family also. I will plant a flowering Western red bud in his honor.

Mr. Ripp was such a HUGE part of all of our lives at Pacheco School in the 1960's - Always ready to play basketball or baseball with us, help us with projects, and always with a smile. He was a truly wonderful man of great character and kindness. He shall be missed by all of us who knew him in our formative years and beyond. Such a role model and mentor. My great condolences to all of the Ripp Family.

Mr. Ripp was a big part of elementary school at Pacheco. He had my brother and diagnosed him before the doctors. He was a wonderful man.

I didn't know your dad, and I don't comment on obituaries, but the gentle and loving humor in how you describe your dad is remarkable. He is obviously someone who was well loved and will be genuinely missed. I am sorry for your loss.

I had Mr. Ripp as my 6th grade teacher at Pacheco School in the late 70s. He was a good teacher.

What a wonderful tribute to your father. I'm so sorry for your loss but was touched by your reflection of him and his life. I too was a child of an elementary school teacher and loved when adults stopped my mom on the street to tell her how much they enjoyed her. Mr. Ripp was able to corral 6th graders and make school enjoyable for his students. What a great life he had.

Sorry for your loss. This obituary was very nicely crafted and represented him well.
