Not sure what to say?

Herm was a part of our sunday foursome at Westlake Golf course. He inspired me to build my addition on my house.I heard Herm shot a 76 and had my freinds validate it.

I worked with Cap Schuler for a couple of years in the 1980's at old Fire Station 73's in Reseda. He was a great guy, good Captain, and I have some really good memories of those years.

Ron Landis, Retired LAFD Engineer.

Herm was always there helping out when we had our DKG events at their beautiful home. He will be missed by all who knew him, but especially by his wonderful family.

Even though Herm graduated from Venice High he still turned out to be the warmest, friendliest member of the LAFD that I ever had the pleasure of working with.He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, but his smile will live on. Earl Watz,LAFD, retired

Will miss his cheerful smile and his great bowling. A very dear friend will be dearly missed.

"I never met Herm, but he must have been an incredible father, because I know his daughter Sharmaine and she is truly a wonderful person. I know Herm must have been very proud of her and his other two daughters as well." Carol Fidani ( Moorpark)

Wonderful Uncle, my favorite! I will always remember the times I spent with Uncle Herm, Auntie Jo, September, Sharmaine & Synthia growing up. I will never forget his smile and infectious laugh. He was a wonderful person as is marked by his relationship with Jo and his phenomenal daughters. I am thankful for all the time I was able to spend with him and the family. He will be missed.

Herm; a friendly fellow, a bowling buddy, and a funny guy. My sympathy to Jo and family.
