Send FlowersSIMMS, Herman L., 73, of Richmond, went home to be with the Lord on September 7, 2009. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving, devoted wife, Gloria D. Simms; four children, Danol, Sean, LaTangie and Bryant; 11 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, five brothers, two sisters, two brothers-in-law, one sister-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where the family will receive friends Thursday, September 17, from 6 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 18, at 12 noon at Southside Baptist Ministries, 5515 Bryce Lane.
