Herman and I go back to the early 80's and always loved this guy! He and I, Jim Creary, and Jeff Van Cola would go to Cobbs Hill Park and play football together. I would bump into Herman in later years and it was always such a pleasure. He always would ask me how everything was going and how the family was. I am glad to have seen him about 5 weeks ago and talk to him. He will be truly missed by myself and my immediate friends who knew him as well as I did. God Bless you pal!!! Steve Smith
