Herman Stubblefield

Stubby was a gentile giant walking among little people. He was always friendly. Cared about the citizens of SB County. Loved being a Veteran. Loved his family above all else. He will surly be missed on Earth. But, the gates of Heaven opened wide to let this man in. God Bless you Stubby

I just received word of his passing this past Friday. My condolences and heartfelt sympathies go out to Pat, Dennis and family. He was a true friend and colleague during my tenure with Santa Barbara County Health Care Services and during our time together in New Cuyama. His convivial nature and true dedication to the community he served were a source of inspiration and a blessing to all who knew him. Thank you for your service, comradery, and friendship. Rest in peace my friend.

I will always remember Stubby, a giant of a man, a true friend, a dedicated employee working for the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Dept, and a Marine. Above all, his love for his wife, Pat, and his family. RIP, my friend, you have fought the good fight.

Stubby was always a favorite of mine when he came into my office to visit his wife. He always brought us a snack and a happy face. My love goes to Pat and years of joy.
