Herman Sung

Herman hired me for my first "real" job after college. I thought he was a pretty good boss at the time, but it turns out he was the BEST boss I have had in my 30 plus year career. From the first interview, where he was looking out for my retirement, to when I changed jobs (which was hard to do knowing I was leaving someone special), he was always working to help out his employees. I am so sad for your loss. Herman was such a gracious bridge friend. So many members of the Palo Alto Bridge Club will miss Herman's calm demeanor, helpful observations, but most importantly, his friendliness. Although he knew me as well as anyone would know the 150+ players, he would always ask me about my daughter; genuinely interested. It was a pleasure to know him and his memory will always occupy a small part of my heart. Fondly, Donna Raynor
