Not sure what to say?

Dear Aunt Sadie and Family
Whenever you came to Michigan or we visited you, we always greatly enjoyed Uncle Herm's warmth and humor. We will truly miss him. We were disappointed that we were not able to attend his funeral. We will be donating to World Renew in his name.
We send our love to all of you.

He was Mr. Visscher to me, father of my best friend, Sharon. He lived life well and left a beautiful legacy.

He took his faith seriously. His children and grandchildren carry on that faith.

He took his work seriously, and well-built, lovely buildings and homes (my mother's remodeled kitchen too!) serve as his monuments.

He never took himself too seriously. Life should be fun. The twinkle in his eye lives on in the ebullient joy of his children and grandchildren....

Mrs. Visscher and Family,

Clary and I remember, Mr. Visscher, fondly. We grew up with him while attending the Everett Christian School and the Christian Reformed Church. He always had a friendly smile and always took time to stop and talk to the Groenewold twins. He will truly be missed!

We pray the Lord will hold each of you in His hands as you go through this difficult time together.

Herman, brother Ken, and my brother Bob at Soap Lake, WA. about 1940

Herman was my 2nd. cousin. While we were growing up, we had many family Sunday dinners. We only seen him and Sadie a few times over the past many years. It is truelly a sad event for the entire family and his extended family. He will be missed by all who know him. He was a good man. Our prayes our with him and his family at this most difficult time.

Sadie and family:
We want to offer our deepest condolences to all of you on your loss of Herman. When I worked with him on our apartment projects, I quickly learned he was a first class craftsman and, later, a very good friend. We will all miss him. We wish you all the best and please know we will be praying for him.
Jim and JoAnn Mulligan

I just wish to send you my sincere condolences - May the Lord Hold you tight in the Palm of His Hand during this sad and emotional time - And Bless you with His Peace and Abundant Love.

Herm was a great neighbor and friend. His quick wit caught many people off guard..
All you have to do is browse a Visscher built house and you know who built it.

Herman was a wonderful man and a great friend. He and his team built our house and became lifelong friends of our family. We will miss his humor, his expertise, his friendship, and his kindness.

Sadie,
I loved your man. I enjoyed Herman very much in my youth.
