Hermerejilda Villalobos Galvan

Hermerejilda Villalobos Galvan Our beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother finished her journey peacefully and graduated to heaven on Thursday, August 10, 2006 with her family at her side. She was born April 13, 1923 in Bastrop County and married her loving husband Henry on August 31, 1940. She was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Las Guadalupanas Crusillista and KJT. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Henry Galvan of Manor, Texas; nine children, Ricky and wife, Irene Galvan, Edward Galvan, Richard Galvan, Augustina and husband, Mike Kopchik, Ana Marie Galvan and husband, Jeff Perkins, Delfina and husband, Gilbert Porras, Paula and husband, Javier Cuevas, Terry and husband, Joe Reyes, and Rosemary and husband Ernest Muniz; 41 grandchildren; numerous great- grandchildren; son in law, Richard Monreal; and daughter in law Dora Galvan. She is also survived by her brothers, Catarino, Joaquin, Bernardo, and Guadalupe Villalobos; sisters, Severiana Vasquez, and Maria Acencion Hernandez; many nieces, nephews, and friends; and special relative, Dora Dennis. She is preceded in death by her parents, Cruz and Pabla (Yslas) Villalobos; two brothers, Refugio and Ignacio Villalobos; two sisters, Maria and Alicia Villalobos; three children, Brejado and Guadalupe Galvan, and Lorenza Monreal. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 13, 2006 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, August 14, 2006 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Manor followed by burial at the Manor City Cemetery. The family would like to thank Dr. David Marquez and Dr. Thomas Tucker; and the staff at St. David's for their generous care they provided her during her stay.
